Senior Resident

Athena Behavioral Health is inviting applications for the position of Senior Resident to support clinical leadership, patient care delivery, and multidisciplinary coordination in our mental healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Centre Head in allocation of Case Managers (CMs) and Clinical Psychologists (CPs) to patients.
• Promote team spirit and effective collaboration among clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Conduct daily IPD clinical rounds under the supervision of the Centre Head and Consultant.
• Monitor patient schedules, therapies, and daily activities along with clinical work-ups.
• Perform OPD duties as per standard operating procedures.
• Handle medical emergencies and provide routine patient care when required.
• Supervise nursing staff and ensure quality standards of patient care are maintained.
• Maintain medical records and ensure timely completion of capacity assessments and documentation.
• Share patient updates with referring psychiatrists at regular intervals.
• Attend family meetings and supervise communication with patient families.
